Tarea - Gender Minority Job Site - Branding Design/ UI/UX

Brief: Create a brand and brand visuals inspired by the themes of balance, education & learning and charity.

My response: I created a recruitment website aimed at gender minorities. Gender discrimination is a big issue in the workplace, from cisgender women, to transgender and non binary individuals. The website creates a safe space for those to browse jobs that are free of discrimination and provide a welcoming environment and the opportunity to thrive.

Gutted Beers

The brief for the competition was to create a drink brand that promotes emotional wellbeing. In my research I found out that probiotics have a positive impact on your mental health as 95% of serotonin is produced by gut bacteria. Gutted combines a great taste with probiotics and natural ingredients to create a delicious reduced alcohol beer that keeps your mind and your gut happy.

Mush coffee - Branding & Packaging

As part of a live brief with a studio, the brief was to create a brand identity for a Mushroom coffee brand named ‘Mush’. My take on the brand had a focus on sustainability, using metal tins and eco labels, the tins can then be re-purposed as different objects such as a plant pot etc. Using abstract mushroom textures and bold patterns, the brand doesn’t shy away from the fact it is mushroom based and stands out.

Capital Deodorant

The competition brief was to create a brand using a unique combination of words, I received the word ‘Capital’ as the brand name and ‘Sustainable Deodorant’. Based on the phrase ‘ With a capital’, Capital is no waste, no fuss, and none of the nasty stuff. We’re Deodorant with a capital C.

Chat and Chew

The brief for the competition was to combine two brands, services or products together to create something new. In celebration of International Language Day, Chat and Chew is a collaborative campaign between Gousto and Duolingo, combining language and food through limited edition meal kit boxes.
